History
Adams Paint Design was founded by Tim Adams in Beaverton Oregon in 1983 specializing in faux finishes and commercial interiors.
In 2016 Samuel purchased Adams Paint Design from his father with a commitment to the values of the family business. Design focused, with the highest quality product. Samuel has worked in painting, construction, and design for 15 years in Oregon as well as for the Honolulu painters union in Hawaii.
Tim Adams currently runs Eye on Color full time as a color consultant. Tim was raised in upstate New York by two Art Professors and a Father who worked as a cartoonist for Walt Disney.
Tim has transitioned to focus on Color Consultations and is often part of the process in clients finding the perfect colors. Tim and Samuel have worked together or apart on many Oregon establishments such as the Portland LDS Temple, Skamania Lodge, The Street of Dreams, Yuen Lui studios, St. Patrick's Cathedral under the Broadway bridge, and many homes and small commercial properties throughout the Portland Metro area.
